Thrift+ exists to accelerate the circular fashion economy, moving away from the polluting take-make-waste linear model of the past, and moving to a regenerative model where no clothes that could be used end up in landfill.
Thrift+ helps people to re-sell and buy the best second-hand clothes online, working closely with retailers and other partners and making a donation to charity with every sale.
Their state-of-the art technology means they can rapidly process and sell clothes, solving many of the problems that have stopped online second-hand retail taking off.
In 2020, Thrift+ diverted 115,000 items of clothing from landfill, saving around 1,148 tonnes of carbon by reducing demand for new clothes. They also donated £650,000 to good causes chosen by Thrift+ re-sellers.
